Unity in a Nutshell #5:
"Good Trouble"
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
Unity Principle #5: Knowing and understanding the laws of life, also called Truth, are not enough. A person must also live the truth that he or she knows.
In the immortal words of John Lewis, who was a beacon of courage and wisdom… "Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”
His words resonate deeply because they remind us that we are each equipped with a unique set of gifts and talents, ready to be used to create greater good in the world.
Join Rev. Anne as she wraps up her Sunday Message Series, “Unity in a Nutshell 2024.” It’s not just about understanding these spiritual principles; it’s about putting them into action. After all, what’s life without a little good trouble, right?

"Divine Discomfort"

Sanctuary & Livestream
We've just gotten a marvelous refresher course in Unity Basics and a whole bunch of tools to aid us in our spiritual growth and evolution. It seems that putting them into practice should be a piece of cake, right? Why then do we feel so much resistance to doing so?

Celebrate Black History Month 2024
Our featured offering for Black History Month 2024 is the new booklet From Black Church to New Thought. Black ministers write about their strong backgrounds in the traditional Black church and how they have blended their favorite parts into their New Thought journey.
This article includes links to a video where the authors write about their love for gospel music, leads to information about a special collection called Showcasing Black Voices, where Black authors share their ideas about spiritual topics, and more!

Friend to Friend Program
The Friend to Friend program is designed to help combat the loneliness and isolation of our homebound clients. Volunteers are encouraged to build friendships with lonely clients by making weekly in-home visits.
Many of our clients have no visitors except for the person who delivers their meal each day. These individuals have been productive members of society for many years and have interesting stories and experiences to share with anyone who will take the time to listen

Reverend Anne Tabor, M.Div., is available by appointment for spiritual counseling sessions at Unity of Arlington in a safe and supportive environment. As an ordained Unity minister, Rev. Anne, offers spiritual counseling to individuals seeking a deeper under-standing of themselves and their divine power within to solve life's challenges. Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer. You are a unique expression of God. Spiritual counseling will remind you of that!
