Unity in a Nutshell #1:
“What Does God Do All Day?”
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
Do you know about Unity’s Five Basic Principles and how they came about? Or is it time for a little spiritual refresher on these timeless Truth teachings?
Rev. Anne’s got you covered with her upcoming five-part Sunday Message series “Unity in a Nutshell 2024.” This powerful series is like a cozy blanket for your soul, perfect for both newcomers to Unity’s spiritual teachings and for those of us who could use a reboot on the basics.
In the first principle, we will explore the idea that there’s only One Presence and One Power in the whole wide Universe. Principle one is all about reminding us that we’re not separate from God; we are One with the Divine.
This is the perfect time to bring along your friends and family for the ride!

Unity in a Nutshell #2:
Imago Dei: “Copy That!”
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
Unity Principle #2: Human beings have a spark of divinity within them, the Christ Spirit within. Their very essence is of God, and therefore they are also inherently good.
According to Scripture we are created in the image of God. It’s called "Imago Dei.” But here’s the kicker—despite having this spark of divinity within us, we humans can be quite a handful!
In our second spiritual principle, we’re going to roll up our sleeves and dig deep into what is means to have the Christ Spirit dwell within us.
So, if you’ve ever wondered why we don’t always sparkle with our divine potential, join Rev. Anne as she continues her five-part Sunday Message Series, “Unity in a Nutshell 2024,” and we explore how we are each a unique expression of God within the grand tapestry of creation.

A Prayer for Children: Setting Intentions
by Trish Yancey, LUT, GSE
One of the reasons New Year’s resolutions often seem to fizzle out by February is because we focus on specific things we want to accomplish and skip our overall desire for the year. That’s backward! First, we need to decide what the coming year will be about for us. When we begin by painting the larger picture and setting the tone with overall ideas, then goals become much clearer. We can set those goals in bite-size increments, accomplishing more in the long run by doing a little at a time.
