Palm Sunday
“Letting Go... Again, Again, and Again!”
Sunday, March 24, 2024
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
On Palm Sunday, we celebrate the beginning of Holy Week with Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Picture the huge crowds jubilantly greeting him while waving their palm branches. It’s a moment packed with hope and excitement about what’s to come!
As Jesus rides on a donkey, we're reminded of his profound understanding of his Divine purpose. He’s showing us that real transformation begins with letting go – letting go of our fears, our doubts, and our attachments.
Join Rev. Anne as she takes us through the steps to overcome life’s hurdles with grace and resilience. Get ready to awaken to your own transformation! As Jesus taught, “The one who believes in me will do the works that I do, and, in fact, will do greater works that these.”

Easter Sunday
“Expecting the Unexpected”
Sunday, March 31, 2024
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
The beauty of Easter lies not only in its promise of renewal but also in its reminder to expect the unexpected. Our Master Teacher could have resisted the cross, but he chose to face it and go beyond. In other words, it is the crucifixion that leads to the power of the resurrection!
And just as the disciples were awestruck by the resurrection of Jesus, the deeper meaning for us is that we, too, can encounter moments of Divine intervention from the depths of despair.
So, as we dye eggs and nibble on chocolate bunnies, let’s remember to embrace the timeless wisdom of Easter—that we can rise above our darkest moments with courage and faith. Join Rev. Anne as she delves into the spiritual teachings of Easter, lighting the way for us to discover our own path to resurrection!

A Journey of Self Discovery:
6 Spiritual Lessons from Barbie
by Sandy Eastwood
During my childhood, my Barbie dolls were my constant companion. Her fashion, her accessories, her dream house (my favorite Christmas gift ever!)—playtime with Barbie unlocked my imagination. Barbie could do anything and be anything my mind could dream up. I now understand the concerns about Barbie's impact on body image and diversity, but for me, she always represented unlimited potential.

Celebrating the Daily Word Centennial
by Rev. Teresa Burton
When I discovered Unity in the summer of 2000, Daily Word was the first of its publications I read. The tone and messages were positive and encouraging and jibed with the uplifting church services I had begun to attend. Right away I could feel something shifting within me, as I got a glimpse into a new, more hopeful way of living. I remember it felt almost too good to be true. Daily Word became my companion that summer, and in the years that followed it has been a comfort and an inspiration.

Companion Pet Meals
Years ago, we learned that an alarming number of our elderly and disabled clients were not eating all of their nutritious meal, but actually sharing it with their pets! This is a real problem for clients who live on a minimal income and desperately need the full nutritional benefits of our meals, not to mention the fact that our meals are not always healthy for the pets. Clients who have difficulty adequately feeding their cat or dog may receive supplemental pet food for up to two pets at no charge.

Reverend Anne Tabor, M.Div., is available by appointment for spiritual counseling sessions at Unity of Arlington in a safe and supportive environment. As an ordained Unity minister, Rev. Anne, offers spiritual counseling to individuals seeking a deeper under-standing of themselves and their divine power within to solve life's challenges. Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer. You are a unique expression of God. Spiritual counseling will remind you of that!
Spiritual counseling is offered on a love offering basis. While no specific fee is expected or suggested, we do invite each person to leave a love offering. For more details, please call the church office 817-467-5151.
