“Snapchatting With God"

11am, Rev. Lari Goold, Guest Speaker

Sanctuary & Livestream

On Snapchat, pictures and messages are usually only available for a short time before they become inaccessible to their recipients. Do you Snapchat with God? When you finally realize you could pray and ask for guidance or you’re in the “I don’t know what else to do” mode, do you “dial up” God and quickly state your problem and then have it erased before God can reply? There might be a better way to communicate with the highest source of wisdom you have!

It’s All in Your Mind: An Exploration

of the Third Unity Principle"

11am, Michael Brundy, Guest Speaker

Sanctuary & Livestream

We will explore Unity Principle 3: "Human beings create their experiences by the activity of their thinking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought."

This principle invites us to reflect deeply on the power of our thoughts and how they shape our reality. Michael will share his thoughts and stories expounding on this principle.

To keep the Unity of Arlington joy going for another 50 years, we're popping up a Double Good Popcorn Shop as a scrumptious fundraiser! Visit the online shop between October 14 and October 18 to grab some tasty treats.

We'll send out a link soon for you to share with your squad—friends, family, neighbors, and that one colleague who always steals your snacks! And here's the cherry on top: 50% of every purchase goes straight to our joyful mission. Keep your eyes peeled for emails packed with all the delicious details! 🍿✨

Are You a United States Service Veteran?

Our neighborhood school, Key Elementary, is planning an event to celebrate our veterans. If you would like to be included, please call the school at 682.867.550 and ask for Laverne Grant, the Family Engagement Liaison.

It would be so nice to have our Unity of Arlington veterans be included in the honors.

Finding Spritual Solace

After Suicide

by Janet Dubrasky

A mother struggling with finding solace after her son's suicide shares:

During this heartbreaking time, I was grateful for the Daily Word messages that soothed my heart. I also took comfort in spiritual truth I had learned over the years: We are on earth only for a short time; we are spiritual beings having a human experience; and being here is our school to learn and grow spiritually. I found comfort in knowing God is with me and is giving me strength to persevere.

Fostering healing and joy for domestic violence survivors through the holiday spirit

During the holiday season, gift-giving can be a luxury for those affected by domestic violence. Parents often sacrifice their needs to make the holiday special for their children. That’s why we created ‘Santa’s Shack’ in shelters, allowing children to choose gifts for their parents, who also deserve to feel cherished. It costs them nothing but gives much.
