“The Charismatic Spell: Empowering Lives and Hearts”

11am, Michael Brundy, Guest Speaker

Sanctuary & Livestream

People that have the ability to put others under their spell have charisma. Charisma is the ability to charm and inspire others, a divinely conferred power or talent. Charisma is a gift given to all but only positive, happy people accept and use this gift.

When people use their gift of charisma, they can induce spells on others. Not in the sense of sorcery or magic but by the power of their attitude. Their positive attitudes can be contagious. Then they can begin to make a difference in the world and in the lives of others.

Charisma is, in essence, a divine gift that can be a force for good in our world. It has the power to break down barriers, bridge divides, and bring people together. When charismatic people use their gift to inspire positive change, amazing things happen. They become catalysts for transformation, lighting the way for others to follow.

Let’s explore ways to use this charismatic spell.

About Michael:

Michael Brundy is a motivating and inspiring speaker and storyteller. He retired from AT&T with 39 years of service and he never missed a day of work.

Michael identifies his passion as a desire to communicate with and empower others. He does this through his writings and his public speaking. He is a member of the National Speakers Association, a member of the Toastmaster International Hall of Fame, an author of four books and the president of his own speaking company, called I Speak. He is also a marathon runner. Michael is a member of CSL Dallas and has served on their Core Council and as a Platform Assistant.

Michael was born in Leavenworth, Kansas where he graduated from high school. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Emporia State University, in Emporia, Kansas and a Master of Arts degree in Business from Lindenwood College, St. Charles, Missouri. But he would says his most valuable lessons came from his elders, teachers and life experiences.

Michael believes that we can all do more with our lives. He believes life is an evolving and developing process. He believes our attitude and our vision can determine if we are successful in life.

Rescheduled Church Grounds

Work Day From Oct. 28 to November 4!

Due to the rainy forecast for this weekend, our church grounds work day is being rescheduled to Saturday, November 4, from 9am-noon. Please do come and help us with our fall tidying-up. This is a wonderful way to be of service to Unity of Arlington. Many hands will make quick work and give us plenty of time to enjoy the pizza that will be served afterwards.

Self Care for

Sensitive People

by Judith Orloff, M.D.

A big challenge for all sensitive people is how to be compassionate without absorbing the stress of others and the world. We don’t have the same filters as most people. We are emotional sponges who feel everything and instinctively take it in. This differs from “ordinary” empathy, where your heart goes out to others in pain or happiness, but you don’t take on their feelings.

We empaths are helpers, lovers, and caretakers who often give too much at the expense of our own well-being.

The secret to an empath’s well-being is to break the momentum of sensory overload before it consumes you. The strategies and attitudes I share here, which have been lifesaving for me, will quickly bring you back to center when you are overwhelmed or emotionally triggered.

Anne, offers spiritual counseling to individuals seeking a deeper under-standing of themselves and their divine power within to solve life's challenges. Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer. You are a unique expression of God. Spiritual counseling will remind you of that!

Spiritual counseling is offered on a love offering basis. While no specific fee is expected or suggested, we do invite each person to leave a love offering. For more details, please call the church office 817-467-5151.
