Rev. Lari Goold is an individual expression of God. In her human form, she is a wife, mother, grandmother and semi-retired minister. She is here this Sunday to remind you that you are all beautiful, divine expressions of the One. She has adopted Unity of Arlington as her second spiritual home and loves to share time with this community.

Join Rev. Anne for her back to basics five-part Sunday Message Series, “Unity in a Nutshell 2023.” This powerful series is perfect for those new to the teachings of Unity, as well as, those of us who have been practicing these spiritual principles for years and look forward to a renewal of the essentials. In the first principle, we will explore the Divine Idea that there is only One Presence and One Power, God the Good.

Join Reverend Anne for a Prayer Workshop designed to help you explore and strengthen your own personal prayer practice. This workshop is for anyone, but especially for those who want to know more about affirmative prayer—and—it's for those who want to give their current prayer life a “tune up.” It is also a great opportunity to learn more about the Unity Five-Step Prayer Method.
The emphasis of this two-hour workshop will focus upon 3 main questions:
1. What is prayer?
2. Why do we pray?
3. How do we pray?

SpiritGroups Winter 2023
All Groups Will Be Offered in Person and Via Zoom if Needed
SpiritGroups are Unity of Arlington's small group ministry. SpiritGroups can help you grow in your faith and spiritual practice. They provide an opportunity for you to engage with others in a deeper way.
Members of the group proactively support and care for each other.
SpiritGroups also can help you gain practical insights affecting every area of your life and have fun along the way.
Sign up for SpiritGroups begins this Sunday, January 22, 2023. Sessions begin the week of February 5, 2023, which is also the last day to sign up. The session runs through the week of April 7, 2023.

Join Rev. Anne for Part 2 of this six-week book study based on the Unity classic, The Simple Truth: Making Sense of God, Life & Other Stuff by Mary-Alice and Richard Jafolla.
Registration will open next Friday, January 27th.
In this course, you will learn a concise, basic understanding of Unity metaphysics in a user-friendly and humorous way. It is perfect for new Truth students or anyone who wants to reflect on Unity spiritual principles.
The Simple Truth includes twenty-four short, stimulating chapters that offer explanations of fundamental spiritual subjects such as the nature of God, spirit, soul, and body; God's laws of cause and effect, of love, and of prosperity; heaven and hell; Jesus, the Christ, and the Holy Spirit; the creating power of thoughts and words; prayer and meditation; faith, gratitude, and forgiveness.
This book study is for you if you are ready to engage and participate fully in a practical, inspirational, and fun way to create a better spiritual life.

Youth & Family Ministry Director
Unity of Arlington has a part time position open for our next Youth and Family Ministry Director.
The YFM Director makes way for the spiritual education and empowerment of babies, children, and teenagers in our church community. In keeping with Unity principles, the director oversees the development of a spectacular, inspiring youth program including relevant curriculum, age-appropriate classroom environment, community-building activities, and a team of well-trained adult volunteers and teachers who are themselves Unity students. The YFM Director supports families by initiating programs relevant to the spiritual life of families.

Like a Miracle - Study Group
Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3pm, Zoom
Beginning Tuesday, January 24th, join Rev. Gloria's book study on Zoom. In this session, they will be reading Like a Miracle by Ernest C. Wilson.
Wilson was a Unity Minister, had a daily radio program, and was a celebrated TV pioneer, as well as a leader in church ministry. He was humorous, powerful, tender and full of insights.

Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer.
