Unity in a Nutshell #5:
“Living an Inconvenient Truth”
(and what to do about it!)
Rev. Anne Tabor
11am CT | Sanctuary & Livestream
Unity Principle #5: Knowing and understanding the laws of life, also called Truth, are not enough. A person must also live the truth that he or she knows.
There is no greater point in our lifetime than right now to be living unity. The Reverend Bernice King recently said that too often her father’s legacy is reduced to a “comfortable and convenient King” when quoting him. But “we refuse to live King 365 days a year.”
Well, we are the ones and now is the time!
Join Rev. Anne as she concludes her Sunday Message Series, “Unity in a Nutshell 2023,” as we explore our fifth principle and how it is not enough to know and understand these spiritual laws; we must actually live the Truth we know.

“The Power of the Spoken Word”
Rev. Anne Tabor
11am CT | Sanctuary & Livestream
We’ve all heard the saying about actions speaking louder than words. While this is true, we also know that the words we choose to speak have great power—both in how they impact us and others! Unity Co-Founder, Charles Fillmore, said “Words are the vehicles through which ideas make themselves manifest.” Join Rev. Anne for an inspiring message about how the weight of your words directly affects what’s showing up in your life.

Martin Luther King Jr.’s
Message of Love
By Marchel Alverson
Ordained Unity minister Rev. Jacquelyn Hawkins compares the Unity principles with the faith of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.
King’s philosophy coincides with the Unity principles, she says.
“Martin Luther King felt it was not enough that we have certain inalienable rights. He felt strongly that we must put action to our beliefs,” Hawkins says.
“The fifth Unity principle says it’s not enough to know the principles. We must take action in whatever way we feel is most in line with our beliefs.”
