This week, Tracy Brown challenges us to consider the meaning of surrender through a spiritual lens and to consider how surrender makes us stronger, not weaker.

About Dr. Tracy:
Dr. Tracy Brown has used universal spiritual principles as a guide for her life for more than 35 years. Her motto is, “You ALWAYS have a choice.” And she believes “Learning spiritual principle is useless if you don’t live it.”
Dr. Tracy is a frequently requested speaker in both the Unity Movement and Centers for Spiritual Living. She also has hosted three programs on the New Thought Media Network.
She is currently working on her next book, “Inclusive Churches” as a follow-up to the book “Stained Glass Spirit: Creating Spiritual Communities Where Oneness Does Not Require Sameness.”

Youth & Family Ministry Co-Lead Director
Unity of Arlington has a part time position open for our next Youth and Family Ministry Co-Lead Director.
The YFM Director makes way for the spiritual education and empowerment of babies, children, and teenagers in our church community. In keeping with Unity principles, the co-lead directors oversee the development of a spectacular, inspiring youth program including relevant curriculum, age-appropriate classroom environment, community-building activities, and a team of well-trained adult volunteers and teachers who are themselves Unity students. The YFM Co-Lead Directors support families by initiating programs relevant to the spiritual life of families.

2024 Fillmore Festival: 100 Years of Daily Word
Since its first issue on July 1, 1924, Daily Word magazine has been inspiring, uplifting, and comforting readers with messages and affirmations to support their spiritual journey. Now circulating in more than 100 countries and four languages, this pocket-size publication is a spiritual companion for people from all walks of life and religious backgrounds.
The Festival will take place August 22-25, 2024. Leading metaphysicians from the Unity movement will speak to the Truth principles that have been taught in Daily Word through the years.

Healing from Trauma

The body and mind are a mystery. Healing shows up at the strangest times and in the strangest ways. When you are going through unexplained illness, depression, fear, or any other physical or mental manifestation, it oftentimes brings an opportunity to go deeper. The road to healing can be slow, difficult, and confusing, as all is being revealed for your greatness and highest good. New Thought teacher Emma Curtis Hopkins reminds us, “This too is good, this too is God, this too is for me, and I demand to see the blessing.”

Since May 2020, we have provided over 4,657 survivors in domestic violence shelters with I See You boxes. These contain items that promote self-care and social-emotional wellness.
We partner with domestic violence organizations to provide wrap-around support for survivors. Self-care and emotional well-being are essential in recovery and help to break free from a life of abuse.
We are a volunteer organization. Many volunteers are survivors of domestic violence and want to help others find their way.

Anne, offers spiritual counseling to individuals seeking a deeper under-standing of themselves and their divine power within to solve life's challenges. Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer. You are a unique expression of God. Spiritual counseling will remind you of that!
