"Going for the Gold"
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
In the spirit of the Summer Olympic Games, we also come together to celebrate our divine potential and inner champion. Just as athletes in Paris strive for gold, we too can aim high and unleash our spiritual strength.
Remember Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Let's embrace that same spirit by discovering the gold within our own soul and share it with the world. Join Rev. Anne as she guides us in understanding that it's not just about winning medals; it's about recognizing and shining your inner sparkle!

"The Gospel Truth"
11am, Rev. Anne Tabor
Sanctuary & Livestream
Ever hear the phrase, "The truth will set you free, but first it will tic you off"? Well, this can definitely be the case when we’re talking about the gospel truth! On one hand, this truth might ruffle your feathers, make you squirm a little—because who really wants to face those uncomfortable truths, right? But on the other hand, once you let it sink in, that same truth just might set you free in ways you never imagined. Join Rev. Anne as we dive into the transformative power of embracing the gospel truth!

Fifty Years Ago Today...
Marie and Keith Loynachan started a small study group in their home, encouraged by Rev. Dr. Donald Curtis from Unity of Dallas. Little did they know that they were planting the spiritual seeds for what would become Unity of Arlington!
We are infinitely grateful to Marie and Keith for their unwavering love and leadership over the years.
As we begin celebrating our 50th Anniversary, we invite you to be a part of this incredible milestone. Your generosity has always been the foundation of our success.
In honor of our 50th Anniversary, would you consider making a
special $50, $500, or maybe a $5,000 Love Offering?
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue the legacy of our beloved spiritual community that Marie and Keith began.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support and faithful giving. We are profoundly grateful for your loving commitment to our spiritual family.
We've made it easy for you to make a one-time donation
or set up recurring giving.
- Give online by clicking here: Donate
- Text-to-Give through Tithely by texting the word GIVE (with no quotes) to 844-363-7894 and follow the prompts on your phone.
- Give using the Tithely Mobile App, just download the GREEN Tithely app (not the blue one) from your app store.
- USPS: mail your check to 3525 S. Bowen Road, Arlington TX 76016.
Knowing that God is our one true Source, we thank you for allowing Spirit to flow through you in such a loving and meaningful way.
We have SO MUCH for which to be grateful!

Calling all LUVs!
It’s time for “Back to School” in Arlington. We will continue to support the faculty and staff at Key Elementary this year; the teachers returned Aug. 5th, and we are planning an affirmation morning for them on Aug. 12th, before the students start on Aug. 14th.
This Sunday we invite you to write a "Welcome Back!" note. We will then attach them to the poster you will find at the back of the sanctuary. You will see we have provided cards for this purpose. Please stop by to offer some kind, uplifting, and inspirational words to them. The poster will be displayed in the teacher’s lounge with some doughnuts and other goodies the morning of August 12th. You can also make a donation towards the purchase of the morning snacks.
If you are not physically present in church and would like to offer your inspirational message, please feel free to send it to our volunteer coordinator:
Theresa Riggs: theresamariewolf@yahoo.com.
Let’s help them start the school year off with some lovely Unity of Arlington blessings!
Gratitude and blessings, Theresa Riggs

A Prayer for Children: Navigating Change
By Rev. Julie Boniger
It’s that time of year when the pool floaties get put away and back-to-school sales begin. I loved going school shopping. The crisp, empty notebooks waiting to be filled with ideas, a fresh box of crayons ready to color the world, and a new backpack to hold all the things I would need in the new school year. Often with newness comes change—new teachers, new classrooms, new friends, or even a new school. Navigating these changes can be exciting but also a little scary for children.

World Day of Prayer 2024 Guided Prayer
|
|
|
Reverend Anne Tabor, M.Div., is available by appointment for spiritual counseling sessions at Unity of Arlington in a safe and supportive environment. As an ordained Unity minister, Rev. Anne, offers spiritual counseling to individuals seeking a deeper under-standing of themselves and their divine power within to solve life's challenges. Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer. You are a unique expression of God. Spiritual counseling will remind you of that!
Spiritual counseling is offered on a love offering basis. While no specific fee is expected or suggested, we do invite each person to leave a love offering. For more details, please call the church office 817-467-5151.
