"Living in Alignment with Divine Purpose"
Michael Brundy, Guest Speaker
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
There is a deep peace that comes when we are aligned with our divine purpose. It’s as if everything falls into place, and life begins to flow with a grace and ease that’s undeniable. But when we’re out of alignment, it can feel like we're swimming upstream. Let’s discuss how we can live in alignment with divine purpose.
About Michael Brundy:
Michael describes himself as a speaker, a writer and a storyteller. His goal is to inform, inspire and entertain his audiences. He loves to share historical narratives and personal stories. Michael has written four books and is a highly recognized speaker.
Recently he has discovered storytelling guilds and associations. He is the president of the Dallas Storytelling Guild and the president of the Tejas Storytelling Association. They will be hosting the Texas Storytelling Festival in Denton, Texas March 6-9, 2025 (see Michael for more information).
Michael has been an active member of CSLDallas for over twenty years. He has served on numerous boards and councils at CSLDallas. He has been an active member of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Incorporated for 50 years.
He is retired after 40 years in the telecommunications industry. Michael enjoys staying healthy and wise by keeping up with his two grown grandsons.

About Guest Artist Russell Dickinson-Cuniff
Russell T. Dickinson-Cuniff started performing in the mid-1970s at First Baptist Church in his hometown of Port Neches, Texas. During his first year as a member of the East Texas Baptist College (ETBC) Concert Choir he was asked to perform at the National Association of Teachers.
Russell transferred to Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and while there he became the full time music and youth director at Beauxart Garden Baptist Church from 1976-1980. Life then took him in a totally different direction working for a variety of companies, culminating with a 20+ year career at ATT. During his time at ATT the desire to complete his education never subsided and he graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University in 2001. While a student there Russell was inducted into the Phi Beta Delta National Honor Society.
Russell has been a member of the Amastad Singers in Del Rio, TX and the Fort Worth Men’s Chorus.
Russell lives in Kennedale with his husband of 31 years, David, They enjoy traveling and sampling local cuisines. Russell loves reading and karaoke. He has two sons and one grandson.

"Resilience and Resistance"
Dr. Tracy Brown, RScP, Guest Speaker
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
Too often we limit our reflections on love to soft, warm, quiet, joyful behavior. What does love look like when we are in the middle of a personal crisis, a pandemic or political polarity? Tracy Brown invites us to consider that resilience is a result of self-love and resistance is an expression of a commitment to love the community as well as yourself. She will share a roadmap for navigating tough times provided by Black women in America that perfectly aligns with Unity Principle and universal spiritual Truth.

Why Is Black History Month So Important?
Black History Month is a launchpad for cultural, spiritual, and historical understanding of African Americans and unity in America.
As Unity observes and celebrates Black History Month, some of its Black leaders explain why Black History Month remains important, especially in a spiritual context.

The word of God is quick and powerful.... Through Christ in you, you can live life triumphantly and victoriously." Myrtle Fillmore told her, "You are a peacemaker." Charles Fillmore stated: "Jesus Christ men (and everyone) are to be lights that glow with a perpetual current from the omnipresent energy." Join in as we "Let our Lights Shine" for the Highest Good for all!

The Board of Trustees has made the decision to temporarily pause our Youth and Family Ministries Program.
We ask for everyone’s support while we make space for a robust program with a focus on Unity curriculum development and family engagement. In the interim, we welcome and encourage the children to attend church with their families. We are providing art tablets, books, crayons and markers in the sanctuary.

2025 Black History Month
To celebrate Black History Month, we focus on the many Black leaders who are and have been part of the New Thought movement, the spiritual path that includes Unity.
In the booklet From Black Church to New Thought, ministers who grew up in traditional Black churches tell how they incorporate their background into their churches today. We’ve even included a playlist of their favorite gospel music.
Then read more history in the Black Communities section of the unity.org website and peruse the many articles by Black writers.
