"What I Learned from Mom"
Steven D. Morris, Our Speaker
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
This Mother’s Day we will have fun with things our moms have taught us.
We will celebrate the wisdom of moms.
No matter what stage of life you or your mom are at, there is always a lesson to be learned.

"Keep It Simple"
Rev. Lari Goold, Our Speaker
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
Why is it that we avoid the simple way of dealing with life? When we are faced with a problem, we look outside of ourselves and ask others for advice or Google for information on how it’s been done before, etc. And yet, the Master Teacher told us to simply, “Seek the kingdom and all else will be added.” Why
do we forget so quickly that we have an Infinite Provider that supplies us with whatever we seem to be lacking? It’s really very simple, but not so easy.

Why become a member of Unity of Arlington?
Membership is not required for attending services or serving at Unity of Arlington. However, we encourage it as a way for an individual to commit to his or her own spiritual growth, and make meaningful connections with other like-minded people in faith. We'd love to have you join us as a member!
- Becoming a member confirms to you and your spiritual community that you are committed to living a life of love, abundance, and meaning.
- It affirms a sense of commitment to personal spiritual growth, ownership of your individual beliefs and a willingness to make a difference.
- Committing to membership is a public affirmation that says “I walk my talk” setting an example for others in living a positive life.
- Only members can participate in voting on important church matters.
- You become a part of the growing group of people who are living consciously and actively making a difference in the world.
Membership classes are required to become a member and attendance is required at both classes. You do not have to join to attend these classes.
Current members are welcome to attend.

For God and Country: An Army Chaplain’s Journey
by Sonja C. Thompson
Wherever I was stationed, I relied upon Unity to send me numerous copies of Daily Word with each new issue. The soldiers eagerly received and cherished them. They found inspiration in the affirmative messages, helping them to believe in themselves and their ability to do whatever they were called to do.
