"The One and The Many: Divine Paradox"
11am, Rev. Rebecca Rickey
Sanctuary & Livestream on Facebook
Have you had days when your experience of God seemed inconsistent or contradictory? If so, you’re not alone. Let’s explore the concept of divine paradox; how seemingly contradictory things about God can be true at the same time. We’ll look at some of these divine paradoxes, or what seem to be different realities, and how they are aspects or dimensions of the wholeness of God. Perhaps two things can be true at once. We’ll discuss how knowing and working within this concept can broaden our spiritual understanding.

"Trusting the Flow of Good"
11 am, Dr. Nancy Little, PhD, LPC
Sanctuary & Livestream on Facebook
Life brings waves of change — some welcome, some unexpected. How do you stay grounded in spiritual truth when your outer world feels uncertain? How do you keep faith alive when the path ahead isn't clear?
Join us Sunday, August 17, as we explore the transformative power of prosperity consciousness, the sacred role of change, and the deep reassurance of faith. Dr. Nancy will combine Unity teachings and draw from real-life stories of spiritual teachers such as Maya Angelou.
Dr. Nancy’s message brings timeless spiritual principles to life — reminding us that prosperity is not about acquiring, but about aligning with the flow of Divine Good. She will provide a reflection handout to deepen your on-going exploration.

Happy News!
We are excited to announce that Unity of Arlington launched Child Care and a Youth Circle on August 3rd!
Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers and support from a local school counselor, we’re able to offer a safe, nurturing space where children and teens can engage in age-appropriate activities, connect with peers, and feel part of a warm, accepting community.
We would love to see your children and are excited to welcome more young minds into our loving and inclusive circle.

Don't Numb Out: Staying Human in Surreal Times
by Angie Olson
With near-constant access to a stream of global news, we are asked to carry more stress, heartbreak, and fear than our hearts were ever meant to bear. As division seems to deepen across the world, many of us are left holding emotions that don’t even belong to us, but they settle in our minds and bodies. Time feels compressed. Conversations can feel loaded. Life seems heavy.
No wonder it’s hard to breathe sometimes.
