Dr. Nancy Little, LPC, LUT, as she shares how we can quiet the noise around us, listen deeply within, and follow Spirit's gentle guidance toward clarity, courage and peace.

TREASURER'S REPORT AUGUST 2025
|
|
For the month of August income was $13,261.94 and our expense was $20,191.66, leaving us with a deficit for the month of $6,929.72.
Year to date through August, income was $150,763.31 and our expense was $161,024.70, for a deficit for the year of $10,261.39.
Our deficits have been primarily the result of lower than expected Love Offerings. To date, Love Offerings have been $139,100.84 which is a deficit of $41,565.83 over what was budgeted. We have thus far managed this and kept the deficit to about $10,000 by reducing expenses as much as possible. But this is not sustainable as we expect higher expenses will be necessary going forward. As a congregation, we require an income of about $22,000 each month to meet expenses. In August, our total income was only $13,261.94.
The Board asks that you prayerfully consider your love offerings as we move into the final quarter of our budget year.

Sacred Paws Pet Blessing
Saturday, October 11, 2025
Join us for our Pet Blessing Event!
We’ll gather on the lawn from 10am—noon, providing individual blessings for all animals; the dogs and cats of course, and any of your special critters that you’d like to receive a blessing. If your animal is not available to come in person, just bring a photograph and we will happily bless it. Please have your pets appropriately leashed or crated.
We’re thrilled that Arlington Animal Services will be on-site with a pet adoption van and some great dogs that will be available for adoption.
We’ll be having a bunch of fun, music, popcorn, drinks and snacks, and other surprises. We look forward to having an all around great time together. You do not have to register to bring your pets, just come on over.
If you’d like to volunteer to assist with the Pet Blessing, (we need lots of folks), please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Tana Monaco, at tana.monaco@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you and your critters at the Sacred Paws Pet Blessing!

Unity of Arlington has launched
Child Care and Youth Circle
Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers and support from a local school counselor, we’re able to offer a safe, nurturing space where children and teens can engage in age-appropriate activities, connect with peers, and feel part of a warm, accepting community.
We would love to see your children and are excited to welcome more young minds into our loving and inclusive circle.

Are you called to become a member here at Unity of Arlington? Now’s your opportunity and we’d love to have you. Registration is now open for the Fall Membership Class, to be held via Zoom on consecutive Thursday evenings, October 23 and October 30, from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
Remember: You don’t have to become a member if you take the class, but you have to take the class to become a member. We extend a warm welcome to current members who want to fellowship and get to know one another better. And it’s a great opportunity for everyone to have a refresher about Unity of Arlington, the Unity Movement, and the principles we teach.
