"Beyond the Stars: Spiritual Lessons from Science Fiction"
Rev. Rebecca Rickey
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
Science fiction has always asked the great spiritual questions: Who are we? Why are we here? What is possible for humanity? In this message we will explore how beloved sci-fi stories reflect timeless metaphysical truths about consciousness, imagination, evolution, and the power within us to create our world.
From distant galaxies to artificial intelligence, from time travel to encounters with the unknown, science fiction invites us to stretch beyond limitation and imagine humanity at its highest potential. Together, we’ll discover how these stories mirror the soul’s journey toward awakening, unity, compassion, and infinite possibility.
Join us as we venture beyond the stars and into the ever-expanding universe of Spirit.

"With What Measure Ye Mete"
Rev. Lari Goold
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
Emmet Fox tells us that the verses from The Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 7 are the most staggering words ever presented to mankind and all we really need to teach everyone. Let’s talk about this message from Jesus and see if we agree with Emmet Fox.
***********
Bio: Rev. Lari Goold is a familiar face in Unity of Arlington. Since she retired from the pulpit and closed her own Centers for Spiritual Living church, she has appeared here now and then to bring laughter along with love and a message about it. Lari considers Unity of Arlington to be her spiritual home. She continues her own spiritual journey exploring the many mystics who point the way. By leading a spiritual book study, she explores the many teachers who speak of enlightenment. She is a former piano teacher, and church pianist and youth leader. She currently runs the family business while enjoying life with her husband, children and grand-daughters.

Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers and support from a local school counselor, we’re able to offer a safe, nurturing space where children and teens can engage in age-appropriate activities, connect with peers, and feel part of a warm, accepting community.
We would love to see your children and are excited to welcome more young minds into our loving and inclusive circle.
